 Illinois River
We are the Illinois River Flotilla (095-37-03) of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary.   The Coast Guard Auxiliary is a non-military, volunteer component of the U.S. Coast Guard.  The U.S. Coast Guard is part of the Department of Homeland Security.

As the volunteer arm of the Coast Guard, we support Coast Guard missions in Recreational Boating Safety.  The Illinois River Flotilla conducts active programs in boating safety education to the general public, vessel safety checks, and a marine dealer visitation program.

Our meetings are at Fire House #5 on 119th St (1900 W. Rodeo Drive) in Bolingbrook, IL, about a mile west of Weber Road.  We meet on the fourth Thursday of each month* at 19:00 (7:00pm).  Come join us for an evening of training, fellowship and fun.  Ask us how you can serve your country and have a great time doing it.

(*See Calendar page for exceptions due to holidays)

Individuals or groups interested in recreational boating safety are invited to take advantage of our educational programs, free vessel safety checks, or even explore becoming a member of our flotilla.
